VoIP by eZ80

Voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) technology is used to transmit ordinary telephone calls over the Internet by way of packet-linked routes. This VoIP system was successfully built around an eZ80F91 microcontroller using the ZTP software suite and the XINU operating system. A voice band pulse-coded modulation (PCM) codec was connected to the eZ80F91 through SPI and I2C interfaces. Through it, a variety of audio devices (e.g., a telephone, a handset, or a headset) can be easily connected to the VoIP system. A speaker is used to deliver a ring tone to notify you of incoming calls.
