The
Z8 Encore!®-based Illumination Control
System was designed to illustrate what the
ZiLOG Z8 is capable of. It utilizes many capabilities,
including the analog-to-digital converter,
timers, pulse width modulation, and flash
memory. The pin features alone allow for input,
output, or alternate function. The system
controls only one LED array, but illustrates
how it can be used in larger applications.
