Intelligent House Manager

The Intelligent House Manager is an RS-485 network distributed control system for the home. Its configuration has a single master module controlling multiple slave nodes. The master module provides interactive display and user entry while the slave nodes interface to the control devices. Typical node functions include IrDA transceiver, parallel I/O, temperature sensing, 1-wire sensor interfacing, and solid-state relay control. The Intelligent House Manager can be controlled locally with buttons on the master module or remotely through a PC or even a PC connected to the Internet.
