| The
Multilab is a multipurpose lab test instrument
comprised of an arbitrary function generator,
a digital pulse generator, a high-resolution
DC voltmeter, and a DC reference source. To
keep the unit compact and inexpensive, the conventional
front panel was eliminated and a Palm Pilot
PDA was used instead. The combination of the
Z8 Encore!®’s DMA channels and the Palm’s
built-in IrDA features resulted in a uniquely
efficient electronic package. |
