Proximity/Pool Alarm with Digital Audio

The purpose of this project is to help prevent drowning. A Keil MCB2130 evaluation board coupled with an e-field imaging device creates an effective proximity detection system that monitors when someone enters a home swimming pool. The MCB2130’s on-board LPC2138 microcontroller features a digital-to-analog converter that’s used to play audio files stored in the chip’s flash memory. The audio is played back through the in-home security system to notify occupants when someone is in the pool.
