Instruments Tuner and Tone Generator
In
this LPC2138-based application, the chip’s analog-to-digital
converter samples signals from a microphone and calculates the
FFT to determine the frequency. The frequency, the closest musical
note, and the percentage difference between the two are shown
on an LCD. Additionally, the device can generate tones. The
LPC2138 synthesizes the tone using its digital-to-analog converter.
