E-Field
Touch Keyboard
The E-Field Touch Keyboard
eliminates mechanical keyboard switches. Two thin, triangular
electrodes are connected together to form a matrix of
nine columns and four rows. The electrodes sense the
presence of finger near a particular key, and send a
signal to the e-field sensor board. The MC68HC908QY4
MCU decodes and identifies the key and sends the data
to the PC either as a PS/2-compatible signal or serial
signal.
